He is a London-based software architect and entrepreneur and the author and co-designer of RosettaHUB. Previously, he held positions within academic research laboratories and industrial R&D departments, including Imperial College London, European Bioinformatics Institute, IBM, and Schlumberger. Mr. Chine’s interests include large-scale distributed software design, Cloud Computing applications in research and education, Open Source software ecosystems, Open Science and Open Innovation. Since 2009, he has collaborated with the European Commission as an independent expert reviewer and evaluator for numerous flagship EU projects and programs including e-infrastructure, HPC, Cloud Computing, Future and Emerging Technologies, Open Data, Software technologies and Next Generation Internet. He holds degrees from the French Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom ParisTech.
