Modern Application Architectures

Description

Takes a participant from no knowledge of The Cloud, Apache Hadoop, or NoSQL to being able to architect a solution using the The Cloud, Hadoop and NoSQL. It shows how to use OpenStack and other technologies to improve web application scalability. There are several in-depth case studies of how to architect and create modern application architectures.

The class gives overviews of Hadoop and certain ecosystem projects. It finishes with architecture overviews of Apache HBase and Apache Cassandra.
